آشنایی با نامگذاری PLATFORM CONTROLER HUB

Platform Controler Hub که به اختصار به آن PCH گفته می‌شود، یک از چیپست‌های خانواده اینتل است که از سال ۲۰۰۸ تولید شد و برای اولین بار با نام رمز Ibex Peak و در برای رفع مشکلات احتمالی پیچیده در روند کاری پردازنده و مادربورد استفاده شد.

pch جانشین معماری قبلی اینتل شده است که شامل پل جنوبی و پل شمالی بود و در سری ۵ اینتل استفاده می‌شد.  این پلتفرم یک کنترل کننده دیتا است و  توابعی که در سی‌پی‌یو‌های اینتل استفاده می‌شود را پشتیبانی می‌کند.
